Spring Update From [Our] Missouri

Here's what's been happening...Twins are about to graduate from high school; Allie is a summer away from beginning her last year in HS; Dad just left for San Antonio to hang with J, M, & T for a week; last weekend, Dad and I went down to Tablerock Lake for a night--great time, great car trip; this weekend, thinking we're heading back down there to chill after big weeks for us both; Dad had chemotherapy Monday and Tuesday and weathered all that without a hiccup; Baby Shayla is our of the hospital and home with Cristina and Kev after having some surgery on her little melon--she is doing quite well, according to her Momma; may be planning a tirp to Michigan for our summer trip--if we go, we will take the bikes without trailering them, which should be interesting, and we will be camping (some version of) "primatively;" Molly is publishing in an online magazine for motorcyle riders--one of the many steps she has taken toward "publishing" as a second career; part of the reason I want to head to MI this summer is to fill in some blanks on "setting" for a book I have been working on for quite a long time, too; all is well at The Ranch for now--pulling weeds, putting all varieties of poop in their proper place (mine included), fishing on the pond (Molly calls herself the "Master Caster, but she cannot yet tie a beetlespin onto her line, nor will she hook a worm--this makes me the...er...Master Baiter right?  Sorry, Children...had to...this blog is PG-13 on its BEST day); Family Trivia: Did you know that "Missouri" contains the word "Russom?"  Russom, with two i's, rearranged, spells Missouri.  I figured this out while on the deer stand one year--this might explain why I am not the most prolific deerslayer you ever knew; Jen's 40th B-day is in January, and we just might be going to Lost Wages to celebrate with her this year--fun, fun, fun, if we can make that happen; yes, my BMW K75 is running perfectly--thank you for asking; I quit chewing for a week or so about amonth ago and failed, but I am planning to quite again, for real and pretty soon, and I might need the family to hold me accountable for this--I think Ic an get it done once and for all this time.
