- I don't trust the United States government to deliver "unstylized" details about Bin Laden's death.
- Short celebration, then a serious rededication to efforts like the one that killed Bin Laden, without a single breath in-between.
- I have photos from parts of the weekend, which included an excellent vocal performance by The Girls at State (the audio from which I will share when I download it from the Tascam recorder), lunch with them at Stone Hill Winery, Cub getting Western riding lessons, grass and grass and more grass-cutting (AaahhhChooo!), Miss Molly running the tiller (The Till of the Hon) whilst I played--er--worked hard aboard the zero-turn mower, marking Mike's 41st (hope he and the fam have a splendid year), a 150-mile rainy and fantastic motorcycle ride beyond Steeleville to the stony riverbanks around Dillard's Mill and "How to use a bike jacket as a picnic blanket," a facefull of great BBQ at lunch, farting into a microphone, running an escapee Blue Tick Hound down in the rain (again!), Fun 'n Games at Wallyworld, and eating Rice Krispie Treats with mini-M&M's for dinner while watching Obama discuss Usama as if he shot the latter in the head himself.
- Want some photos? I have some more from the weekend, and will download later, but here are some from Miss Molly:
- Couple more things:
- I love Molly. I am thankful for her, and thankful that she loves my girls.
- I love my girls for their grace and acceptance, among the many other things I love them for.
- I love my Dad...he had a great weekend with his friend, although the weather and murky water screwed-up the Crappie fishing for them.
- I don't love sounding too sappy, but I love my family at-large--the older I get, the more I realize what "all this" was really about in the first place...about time?
are you growing a brain? finally????
